Morocco Day 1: Flights, Travelling and Arriving

Hello! I'm back from Morocco and much has happened! To catch up with all the events that happened in the oh-so-exotic land of Morocco, I'll be doing in days.

The link for all my photos in Morocco is : http://s1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee489/viv_whale/Morocco%20Trip%20-%20April%202011/

Okay so for Day 1 (the first 13 photos);
We got ready the night before and hurried our way out with much grief! Haha, we kept leaving things behind (for me, it was the camera's memory card!) and going back for it! Haha, but we eventually left with most of our things... haha! Maurice was super excited because it was only his second time in flying in a plane because in Europe, to travel all you need is to take a train!

We travelled with another of their friend called Wolfgang! He's from Vienna! All the people we were meeting in Morocco were all once friends in Vienna, though they now live in all parts of the world! It was an international meeting as there were not only the Austrians but the German, French and Spanish (and Australian!!)! Haha! It was pretty awesome. Anyways going back to travelling on the first day... we took a train to Zurich and caught a flight there which was only 3 hours and 15 minutes. The time difference wasn't large, only an hour and was pretty good. The plane was relatively small and did not have the individual televisions as it was a short flight! Maurice kept looking out the window and pointing the sky to me... Haha!

Momo, the husband of Barbara who is Austrian who now lives in Morocco, met us at 11.00pm at Casablanca to drive us to the capital of Morocco, Rabat where we were staying at! The hotel we were staying at is where Momo and Barbara worked at as the hotel managers. It was really nice though I wasn't really conscious when we arrived. Both Maurice and I fell asleep in the car! Haha! I shared a room with Marion, whose French though living in Bonn! Anyways, that was the first day in Morocco!

I'll update more later as it is already quite late! :D

With love, from Austria
